Common App Blocking Fixes

  1. Open Monk Mode and confirm Screen Time permission is enabled.
  2. Make sure the selected apps or websites are included in the active block.
  3. Check that the block schedule or focus session is currently active.
  4. If a block does not apply, reopen Monk Mode and start the block again.
  5. Restart your iPhone if Screen Time does not refresh after a permission change.

Subscriptions and Billing

Monk Mode purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card number.

  • To restore access, open Monk Mode and tap Restore Purchases on the paywall.
  • To manage or cancel a subscription, open iOS Settings, tap your Apple ID, then Subscriptions.
  • For refund requests, use Apple's reportaproblem.apple.com support flow.

Account Access

If you paid but cannot access Monk Mode Pro, email support with the Apple ID email used for purchase, the Google account used in Monk Mode if different, and a screenshot of your App Store subscription status.

Privacy and Data Requests

You can delete your account in the app from Settings, Privacy & Data, Delete Account. You can also email us for account deletion, data access, or privacy questions.

FAQ

Can Monk Mode unblock an app while a strict block is active?

Some strict blocks are designed to prevent quick bypasses until the block ends. Check the difficulty and end time on the active block in Monk Mode.

Why does Monk Mode need Screen Time permission?

Monk Mode uses Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls APIs to select and block apps on device. Permission is required before app blocking can work.

Can support cancel my App Store subscription?

No. Apple manages App Store subscriptions. You can cancel from iOS Settings, Apple ID, Subscriptions.

How do I request account deletion?

Use Settings, Privacy & Data, Delete Account in Monk Mode, or email monkmode@aura-technologies.co with your request.
